Xiaomi SU7: Xiaomi's first electric car launched with a bang, priced at Rs 2,15,900

Xiaomi SU7 Electric Car Price

Xiaomi's first electric car SU7 has been priced at 2,15,900 yuan. In Indian currency that stands at around Rs 24.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It should be noted that this Xiaomi car is cheaper than Tesla Model 3, one of the most popular electric cars in the world sold in the Chinese market. So the fight in the field can be said to be quite intense. Xiaomi said that SU7 will be delivered to customers from this month.

Xiaomi SU7 – Variants and Specifications

Xiaomi has introduced their first EV model SU7 in all its variants. These are – an entry level version, Pro variant, Max version and a Limited Founders Edition. The four-door sedan EV measures 4,997mm, 1,963mm and 1,455mm in length, width and height respectively. All variants get 19-inch Michelin alloy wheels as standard features on models with a 3,000 mm wheelbase.

Xiaomi SU7 – Speed ​​and Performance

Xiaomi has been vocal about the great performance of their SU7 EV. With a top speed of 265 kmph, the top-end Max version will take 2.78 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 kmph. Range on full charge is 810 km. Again the Limited Founders Edition offers a dual motor, 4 wheel drive powertrain. Capable of producing 986 bhp of power, this model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 1.98 seconds.

Xiaomi SU7 – Battery, Range, and Charging

Xiaomi has launched an electric vehicle with two types of batteries from CATL. The entry level variant is offered with a 73.6 kWh battery pack. Also available in the top-end variant is a 101-kWh battery. It will give a minimum range of 700 km on a full charge. Xiaomi is expected to introduce a 150-kWh battery pack for this car next year. Its range will be 1,200 km.

The EV model supports Ultra-Fast Charging. Xiaomi claims that their 486V architecture will charge 350 km in 15 minutes. Again, the larger 871V architecture will provide the power to travel 510 km at the same time. Let us know that Xiaomi sells various devices in India apart from smartphones, but it is not yet known whether this car will come to the country.
