Google's cheap mid-range phone, design images leaked ahead of launch

Google will reportedly take the wraps off its latest mid-range smartphone, the Google Pixel 8a, at its annual Google I/O event in May.

This phone will likely be available for purchase soon after the official announcement. Recently, some images of the Pixel 8a surfaced via sources. Now ahead of the launch, another report has revealed four attractive color options of the handset.

Leaked are the color options of the Google Pixel 8a

A report by Android Headlines claims that the Google Pixel 8A will be available in four colors – Obsidian, Mint, Porcelain and Bay. The Mint option offers a bright green flavor, while Obsidian and Porcelain resemble black and white/off-white shades, respectively.

The bay color resembles a shade of blue and is seen in Google Fi ads posted by the company. Mint and Bay colors both have a pastel feel and would be a good option for those who want to break out of the 'black and white' smartphone shell.

Design-wise, the Pixel 8a looks similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 8, with a matte-textured back panel and a 6.1-inch FullHD+ 90Hz display on the front. The phone will have the same Tensor G3 processor as the Google Pixel 8 and a 4,500 mAh battery. The camera setup is also expected to remain unchanged with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor.
