Tractor: Tractors made in India are being exported to 110 countries of the world including Japan, Europe, America

John Deere, an American company known for manufacturing various heavy machinery used in agriculture, decided to manufacture their high-powered 5M range of tractors in India during the Corona epidemic. 


The 5M range of high-end tractors, which are completely manufactured in the Indian factory, are now being exported to various parts of Europe, including the US, Japan, Germany.

Shailendra Jagtap, Managing Director of John Deere's Indian division said in this context that their Made-in-India tractors have been exported to 110 countries around the world. Of which 5M is the new addition. These tractors are available in the 75-130 horsepower range and are manufactured entirely for export to overseas markets.

He added that 35 percent of John Deere's production is exported. Our company is not only involved in exporting tractors to other countries but also exports other parts and electronic systems from India.

Incidentally, John Deere is already doing business in India for over 25 years. They have their head office in Pune and their nearby plant with an annual production capacity of 72,000 units. Also, another factory in Madhya Pradesh is equipped to produce 60,000 tractors of the 5000 series. Currently the company has 7,00,000 customers and 10 percent share of the country's tractor market.
