HP recently announced its joint venture with Google, under which the company will start manufacturing Chromebooks in India. Production of 'Make in India' HP Chromebooks will begin at the Flex facility in Sriperumbudur near Chennai. This is the same facility where HP has been assembling various Windows laptops for the past three years. It has also been reported that production of the new Chromebooks will begin on Monday, October 2. However, the company has not yet announced how many Chromebooks it will make in a year.
