Xiaomi last night launched the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro smartwatch alongside the 13T series of smartphones. At the same time, the wearable device called Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has been launched in the global market. 

Among them, the new Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro smartwatch comes with a 1.43-inch round AMOLED display and stainless steel casing and is powered by Snapdragon W5 + Gen 1 SoC. And the watch will run on WireOS operating system. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has a 1.62-inch AMOLED display, which has multiple health features. The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro smartwatch comes in two versions, e-SIM and Bluetooth. They are priced at 329 Euros (approx. Rs. 29,005) and 269 Euros (approx. Rs. 23,716) respectively. The watch is available for purchase through the Xiaomi channel in the European market. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has been priced at 39.9 Euros (approximately Rs. 3,516). It comes in Black and White color options.

Specifications and features of Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro and Xiaomi Smart Band 8

The new Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro smartwatch features a 1.43-inch round AMOLED display, which will offer 600 nits of brightness and 326 ppi pixel density. It has stainless steel casing with round dial. The watch is powered by Wire OS operating system and Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 SoC. Popular apps like Google Wallet, Google Maps and Google Assistant can be found on the wearable.

On the other hand, Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro comes with dual band GNSS support. As a result, it can accurately track the user's fitness. Not only this, the watch has 150 sports modes and heart rate monitor, sleep monitor present. The watch also has 20 watchfaces, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, GPS. Again a 495 mAh battery is provided for power backup. According to the company, the e-SIM version of the watch is capable of offering up to 45 hours of battery life on a single charge. But the Bluetooth version will last up to 65 hours. The device has a 5ATM rating to protect it from water.

Now let's talk about Xiaomi Smart Band 8. It features a 1.62-inch AMOLED display, which will offer a resolution of 192 x 490 pixels. The pixel density of this display is 326 ppi and it will give 600 nits of brightness. In addition, it has more than 150 training modes. Also notable among its health features are blood oxygen monitor, heart rate monitor, sleep tracker and female period tracker.
