Unfazed by a drop in water, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 launches with a 16-day battery life

Xiaomi today launched the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone at a launch event. Along with that they have brought Xiaomi Smart Band 8. 

It debuted as the successor to Band 7. This new fitness band will have a 60 Hz refresh rate AMOLED display and a 190 mAh battery, which will provide up to 16 days of backup. Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Price

The basic model of Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is priced at 239 Yuan (about Rs. 2850). And its NFC model is priced at 279 Yuan (about Rs. 3330). The fitness tracker will be available with different types of straps – leather, woven leather, holo bracelet and TPU. It is not known when it will come to global markets including India.

Specifications and features of Xiaomi Smart Band 8

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 fitness tracker has 1.6 AMOLED display with pill shape module, which will support 60 Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness and always on display feature. It will not be damaged even in up to 50 meters of water.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has been launched with a bunch of health features such as – heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker and menstrual cycle tracker etc. It can also monitor stress levels. Again it will support 150 sports mode.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 comes with a number of games, including Suduko and 2048. It will offer various features including notifications, weather updates. This fitness band is powered by a 190 mAh battery, which lasts up to 16 days on a full charge. However, if the Always On Display feature is on, it will provide less backup.
