Mahindra Thar 5-Door The Thar five-door has been spotted multiple times during testing on Indian roads. The new version will be designed and developed based on the Scorpio-N platform. It will have a long wheelbase. As a result, there will be more space in the cabin. A touch of innovation can be seen in the cabin of the five-door version of the Thar. Like a larger infotainment system, center armrest, a single-pane sunroof, etc.

Thar EV will be sold in two engine options – 2.0 liter turbo charged petrol and 2.2 liter turbo diesel. The petrol version will produce a maximum power of 200 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 370 to 380 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the turbodiesel engine will get an output of 172 bhp/400 Nm and 130 bhp/300 Nm from the manual and automatic variants respectively. It is available in 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.

Force Gurkha 5-Door Force Motors is gearing up to launch the five-door version of the Gurkha. The car was recently spotted parked in front of one of their dealerships. It will go head-to-head with the 5-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny. Again, the new five-door version will have a longer wheelbase than the three-door version. The car can be selected in 6, 7, 9 and 13 seats. Powering the 3-door version is a 2.6 liter turbo diesel engine. It produces a maximum power of 91 bhp and a torque of 250 Nm.

Tata Sierra Competing with Maruti Suzuki and Force Motors, Tata Motors is bringing the new generation lifestyle SUV Sierra. It will compete with Mahindra Scorpio-N and Thar 5-door. The car will be offered in both five and four door versions. As a result, the number of seats will also vary. Its 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power of 170 PS and 280 Nm of torque. The car will be offered in both manual and automatic transmission options. The electric version has an 80 kWh battery pack and dual motor setup.
