Google Maps: Learn how to blur photos of your home and car number plates on Google Maps

Nowadays people are very busy, in such a situation many do not have time to deliver someone to the right address. However, in the age of internet, the problem of finding the address by the hand of Google Maps has reduced a lot.

And now this Google Maps 'Street View' feature helps a lot to find roads, shops, routes and required places. Although this feature is not yet widely available in India, you can get a fully interactive 360-degree view of the surrounding area using Google Maps' 'Street View' feature. And with Street View, you can see your home and its surrounding shops, buildings and even cars parked in the parking lot. That is, you will see everything in real life here. However, Google has made some rules to prevent anyone from spying using this feature.

What are Google's privacy policies?

Google's official web page states that street-level collections and photo paths will be automatically blurred to blur information such as faces and license plates. Also, if you upload a 360 degree view photo, you can blur any part of the photo to protect the privacy of others.

You can ask Google to blur the image

If you upload an image, part of which should not be visible on a public portal like Google Maps, Google will give you the option to blur it. Or if a photo is uploaded by you or you know someone who has uploaded a photo, you can request that the offending part be blurred for you. Any personal information like house, building number, address, car number plate can be hidden through this feature.

Other important matters

The information that needs to be known about this is that once an image is blurred in Google Maps, it cannot be unblurred. Because, Google will then no longer support that photo path and new photo paths can no longer be uploaded to Google Maps.
